The Milwaukee Bucks recently wrapped up their time at the 2018 NBA Summer League. What can the team and fans take away from their time in Las Vegas?

When the Milwaukee Bucks joined all 29 of their NBA counterparts in Las Vegas this summer, they became part of something that has grown bigger than could have ever been expected. In meaningless NBA Summer League games between rookies and fringe NBA prospects, the league has caught lightning in a bottle.

Fans are locked in, searching for the latest diamond in the rough or wishing to find proof that their team did not blow another high draft pick (don’t worry Sacramento Kings fans, I would never name names). Everyone, from team officials to coaches to star players to media to thousands of fans pour into Sin City, and many more watch from home.

Those tuning in for the Milwaukee Bucks were not disappointed, for a number of reasons. The team played in five games, their most in recent Summer League history, winning a tournament game to get over a hurdle. All of their recent draft picks saw action, they had a number of close games, and dunks were a staple of the highlight packages.

More specifically, those five games presented a wealth of information for fans and team officials to soak in. Here are five takeaways from the Bucks’ time in Las Vegas and what it might mean for the team moving forward.
