The Denver Nuggets are sending Kenneth Faried and Darrell Arthur to the Brooklyn Nets in a salary dump. Here are NBA Trade Grades for both sides.

In their second move of the day, the Brooklyn Nets continued to position themselves for 2019 NBA free agency, while the Denver Nuggets accomplished their goal of clearing deadweight contracts to duck the luxury tax.

As first reported by ESPN‘s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Nuggets are dumping the contracts of Kenneth Faried and Darrell Arthur on the Nets, giving up a protected 2019 first round pick and a 2020 second round pick in the process.

According to Woj, the first-rounder is top-12 protected.

In return, Brooklyn will send guard Isaiah Whitehead to Denver. The Nuggets plan to waive him, so this is essentially just a salary dump.

This move, which came just minutes after it was announced Brooklyn was trading point guard Jeremy Lin to the Atlanta Hawks, is mutually beneficial for both the Nets and the Nuggets.

The question is, how much does each team benefit from this exchange? In order to sort it out, here are NBA Trade Grades for both sides.
