The journeyman has shown the ability to stop some of the league’s top stars in their tracks throughout his first four seasons in the NBA, playing solid on-ball defense and using his physical attributes to get into the body of opponents while behind the 3-point line.

The 6’7″, 210-pound swingman can guard multiple positions, and has displayed a willingness to defend the opposing team’s primary option whenever called upon. Ennis’ presence will help the Rockets remain solid on the defensive end.

He will provide them with a solid veteran who can apply pressure consistently alongside Chris Paul and P.J. Tucker, as the three players on the floor together gives Houston a trio of rough and rugged defenders that can fly around and cause havoc at all times.
