Indiana Pacers: How will Tyreke Evans fit in next year?
The verdict
A versatile wing Tyreke Evans will fit like a glove with the Indiana Pacers, so long as he understands his role. He would be better suited for an off-the-bench role, given how the team performed last season. Lance Stephenson was useful, but Evans has the ability to do a whole lot more with the ball in his hands.
The Indiana Pacers have all of the makings of a playoff team and Evans has Sixth Man of the Year written all over him. He’s coming off the best season of his career since winning the 2009-10 Rookie of the Year Award, when he averaged 20.1 points per game with the Sacramento Kings.

Evans is a volume shooter, but also has the uncanny ability to drive-and-kick on dribble drives. With shooters on the floor like Oladipo and Doug McDermott, it opens the door for potential success behind the 3-point arc. The pieces are there in order to make it work, they’ll just need to execute within their system.
