1. Danuel House, SF

One of the more seasoned players on the Rockets’ Summer League roster in terms of professional experience, Danuel House is a legitimate contender for a two-way contract with the team. In 2017-18, House was a two-way player for the Phoenix Suns, where he played 17.5 minutes per game in 23 appearances for the team.

He spent a majority of his season with Phoenix’s G League affiliate, the Northern Arizona Suns, as one of the team’s key players. He averaged 18.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.1 steals per game in 35 games for the minor league club. Perhaps what caught the eye of Rockets management was his impressive 38.7 percent shooting on 3-pointers on 7.2 attempts per game.

So far in two Summer League games, he’s posted 15.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game.

The 6’7″ forward out of Texas A&M went undrafted in 2017 and now has a chance to earn another two-way contract for the upcoming season. He will likely continue to play big minutes for the Rockets’ Summer League team and be encouraged to be aggressive on both ends of the floor to show that he can be an effective scorer at the NBA level.
