Despite being an elite 3-point marksman, Wayne Ellington is still available in free agency. Who is going to come away with this offseason steal?

2018 NBA free agency has not been kind to Wayne Ellington.

A spark plug off of the bench last season for the Miami Heat, Ellington hit a dismal free agency market this summer.

Normally, 30-year-old 3-point specialists would have been scooped up by some smiling general manager by now, and yet, Ellington still awaits his next destination. So, what would a team be getting in the former UNC product?

Take a look at these stats below.

Not only does the sharpshooter hit 39.2 percent of his 3s but, 82 percent of his total shots are from deep. That’s the definition of a floor-spacer. What’s more, he does this in only 26.5 minutes per game. Who wouldn’t love a microwave scorer with high efficiency?

Bearing all this in mind, here are three teams that would be best-served signing Wayne Ellington.
