The pros and cons of DeMarcus Cousins joining the Golden State Warriors

Pro: Opportunity to create the greatest dynasty of all time
The Chicago Bulls of the 1990s are considered to be the greatest dynasty in the history of professional sports. Winners of six NBA championships, accomplishing the feat three times in a row from 1991-93 and 1996-98, Michael Jordan and the Bulls dominated the league throughout the 90s. In the 1995-96 season, they had the best record in NBA history at 72-10.
With the acquisition of DeMarcus Cousins, the Golden State Warriors have the opportunity to surpass Chicago as the greatest dynasty in professional sports. Make no mistake about it, the Dubs were already on their way to accomplishing this feat prior to Boogie. They’d already won three titles, and surpassed Jordan and the Bulls with a regular season record of 73-10 through the 2015-16 season.
The Warriors were already favorites entering the 2018-19 season to repeat as champions. If Cousins can get healthy, and they find a way to retain him in free agency next summer, it’s likely they surpass the 1990s Bulls’ six championships.
