The Milwaukee Bucks have a number of young prospects on their roster for NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. Here are three things to watch for.

The Milwaukee Bucks will open up 2018 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, an annual tradition for Milwaukee that every NBA team will now be taking part in. While the best and brightest from NBA teams and media come together in the stands, players hoping to make their mark will take to the courts.

The Bucks have not had the most successful run in Las Vegas, going a combined 2-10 over the past four seasons. Unsurprisingly, those seasons have failed to yield another star from the NBA Draft to play alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo. Rashad Vaughn is no longer on the Bucks, Jabari Parker is in restricted-free-agency-limbo, D.J. Wilson might be a bust and Thon Maker is still incredibly raw.

This season is not shockingly different, as the Summer League roster will not include any lottery picks and will include the thus-far disappointing D.J. Wilson. That does not mean there are no reasons to be excited, however, as the team will be headlined by 2018 first round pick Donte DiVincenzo.

Milwaukee will for the second straight summer be looking for help in the bargain bin to fill out their roster, as questionable decisions have led to a cap sheet filled with mediocre players making slightly more than they are worth. Last season, Gary Payton II was a valuable early season option, and rookie Sterling Brown played rotation minutes.

Who will be the highlights of this year’s Summer League team? And what should fans of the Bucks and the NBA be watching for? Games kick off Friday, July 6 and the entire league will be there.
