2. Logjam in the backcourt

The Clippers have already made moves to make space for there younger backcourt players. They are expected to waive Milos Teodosic, the 33-year-old rookie point guard. They also traded Austin Rivers to the Washington Wizards for Marcin Gortat.

These moves were made to allow playing time for Gilgeous-Alexander, Robinson, and the defensive-minded Jawun Evans to a lesser extent. With that being said, it’s not clear why the Clippers would keep Bradley.

Don’t get me wrong, Bradley is an excellent two-way player. He’s a skilled 3-and-D player, shooting over 35.0 percent from 3-point range the past five seasons. He also has good hands and a high-basketball IQ, forcing turnovers and mistakes as a defender.

If the plan is to have veterans who can mentor the younger players, Patrick Beverley and Lou Williams are both already under contract and can do that. Re-signing Bradley will only result in less minutes for the younger players.
