3. Another shot creator

If the Sixers choose to keep Chandler for next season, they are receiving another viable off-the-dribble scorer and driver. He averaged 10.0 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game last year with the Nuggets.

Although his numbers may leave a little to be desired, they really don’t reflect well on the kind of player he is. There is plenty of reason to believe he can bounce back strong in Philly’s system. Denver hasn’t appeared in the playoffs since the 2012-13 season, which has been one of the main reasons why most people don’t know much about what Chandler brings to a team.

He presents the ideal stature for a two-way NBA forward at 6’8″ and 225 pounds, and has grown accustomed to using that frame throughout his career to contribute offensively.

The Sixers will only benefit from having Chandler’s presence in the offense. He is a reliable catch-and-shoot option, as well as a strong finisher at the rim.
