3. Milwaukee Bucks

With superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo at the helm, the Bucks represent one of the real emerging teams in the league. Now with former Coach of the Year Mike Budenholzer patrolling the sidelines, the Bucks have a genuine chance to rise up the standings next season, particularly with the defection of LeBron James to the Western Conference.

From the Hornets’ perspective, a couple of names that appeal are point guards Eric Bledsoe and Malcolm Brogdon. Each possessing expiring deals, the acquisition of this duo could be seen as somewhat of an audition as to who the Hornets may wish to use as their starting point guard moving forward.

For the Bucks, the acquisition of Walker would the Bucks with a legitimate sidekick to pair with Antetokounmpo for next season and beyond.

With an offensive mind such as Budeholzer in charge, Walker’s offensive talents could be utilized even further considering Bud’s acumen and the talent surrounding him on the Bucks’ roster, which Milwaukee would hope is enough to convince him to re-sign after one season.

Also featured in the deal, the Hornets would receive a useful wing in Tony Snell, while veteran forward Marvin Williams heads to the Bucks to help stretch the floor for a team that needs as much floor-spacing around the Greek Freak as possible

Unfortunately, because Milwaukee still owes the Phoenix Suns a protected first round pick and we have no way of knowing when it will convey just yet, the Bucks would be unable to offer a future first-rounder in a deal.
