1. Growth

Like Giles, the rest of the young Kings won’t be able to prove everything in Summer League. However, Kings fans will keep an eye on certain areas of emphasis for each player. For De’Aaron Fox, it will be interesting to see if his decision-making will have improved. Last season, Fox had a habit of losing the ball when facing pressure.

Meanwhile, Frank Mason III struggled to finish at the rim last year. Particularly on fast breaks, Mason was often unable to finish layups against defenders. Justin Jackson needs to show that he is more aggressive and can’t be pushed around so easily.

The Kings’ losses last season were also due mainly to missing open shots.. Summer League will show if that problem is being addressed. For Bagley, Summer League should be mainly about proving his desire to compete. Will he get bullied or can he stand his ground against stronger players? It will all be interesting to see how the Sacramento Kings are growing their games.
