Don’t tell Sacramento Kings fans it’s just NBA Summer League. That’s true for Summer League every year, but it’s even more true for the 2018 NBA Summer League starting Monday in Sacramento.
It’s not just the fact that Summer League is being held in Sacramento for the first time that has Kings fans pumped up. It’s also the fact that the team has a lot to show this time around.
One of the most anticipated aspects of this year’s Summer League is the debut of Harry Giles, who Kings have waited a long time to see, along with the other young players. Last season was a rough one for the fanbase, but now the Kings can show a little bit of what they’ve been working on during the summer and perhaps give people some hope going into the next season.
The Kings’ Summer League begins with the California Classic in Sacramento on Monday. The roster includes De’Aaron Fox, Justin Jackson, Harry Giles, Frank Mason III and rookie Marvin Bagley III. Here’s a look at three things to look forward to.
