1. Tyreke Evans
This move only works if the Thunder can work some magic and get Tyreke Evans to agree to the $5.3 million MLE. It’s unlikely given the season he had, but it’s not impossible. Either way, Evans is a player the Thunder should be targeting to help their backcourt.
Evans is coming off a very solid year with the Memphis Grizzlies where he averaged 19.4 points, 5.2 assists and 5.1 rebounds per game while shooting 45 percent from the field. He earned $3.9 million last year with the Grizzlies, and the buy-low window may not have closed yet for him.
The Thunder have struggled for several seasons at the shooting guard position. Evans can plug that hole and also play meaningful minutes as a point guard to give Westbrook some rest.

Obviously his health is a concern, though. Nagging injuries have led to him never playing over 72 games in a season during his nine-year career. For this reason, his price should remain relatively affordable, and he offers a high reward for any potential risk involved.
