2. Jabari Parker

There is no doubt about Jabari Parker’s talent. The question is his health. The No. 2 pick in the 2014 NBA Draft tore his ACL in his rookie year and played in only 25 games. The following year, Parker played in 76 games, averaging 14.1 points per game and 5.2 rebounds. Parker played in 51 games in his third year, then played in 31 games last season.

Parker is listed as a power forward, but has also shown that can he play at small forward.

Matt Velazquez of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported Friday that the Milwaukee Bucks extended a qualifying offer to Parker, making him a restricted free agent. The Kings will have a chance to sign Parker to an offer sheet.

James Ham projects Parker’s contract to be three years, in the $36-42 million range with a team option for year three.

Despite the injuries, the Kings have a chance to sign a star player for a modest price. They should give Parker a chance.
