Highlights

Although the Kings failed to reach the playoffs for the 12th consecutive year, Bogdan Bogdanovic managed to provide a large contingency of fans across Sacramento and Serbia with a plethora of jawdropping highlights in his rookie campaign, including several big-time shots that helped his team pull out close contests.

In a late November road showdown against the Golden State Warriors, Bogdanovic sought to take advantage of a matchup against Draymond Green by driving inside the lane and hit the go-ahead bank shot with 12.6 seconds left in regulation, to help the Kings earn a 110-106 victory and snap an eight-game road losing streak against the world champions.

He followed up his early season heroics with yet another clutch shot during the dog days of the regular season.

With his team trailing by one on April 6 against the Memphis Grizzlies, Bogdanovic would come to the rescue in the final seconds of the fourth quarter, knocking down a 16-foot jump shot to help Sacramento escape with a 94-93 win on the road.

Despite Bogdanovic’s spectacular moments throughout the year, none of them would top the performance in which he put together at All-Star Weekend.

On an evening where the league’s young stars were on center stage in the Rising Stars Challenge, Bogdanovic managed to put together his finest shooting display alongside teammate Buddy Hield, scoring 26 points on 9-for-16 shooting to guide the World squad to a 155-124 win against the United States and earn MVP honors.

Bogdanovic, who knocked down seven triples in the exhibition showcase, became the first Kings player to win the Rising Stars MVP award since Tyreke Evans in 2010.
