After signing the largest rookie contract in league history last summer, Bogdan Bogdanovic made his presence felt during his first official season with the Sacramento Kings.

Despite being considered as a rookie by league standards last season, Bogdan Bogdanovic showed few signs of it in his first year with the Sacramento Kings.

The former EuroLeague star — who signed the largest rookie contract in NBA history last summer — made a smooth transition to the professional game stateside, finishing in the top 10 or better among rookies in scoring, assists, stealsfree throw percentage and 3-pointers made.

The 25-year-old shooting guard also worked his way into the starting lineup, shooting 44.6 percent from the field while becoming one of the top playmakers on the Kings’ roster.

Bogdanovic, who averaged 11.8 points and 3.3 assists per game through 78 contests, earned All-Rookie Second Team honors last month. He was also named the MVP of the 2018 Rising Stars Challenge at All-Star Weekend, as the player known as Bogi appears to have cemented himself as a vital piece to Sacramento’s future alongside backcourt mates De’Aaron Fox and Buddy Hield.

Here’s a look back at his 2017-18 campaign.
