1. Los Angeles Lakers

Everyone loves a good homecoming story. It’s no secret that Paul George has always wanted to put on a Lakers uniform. It would be a great story for him to go home. Plus, staying out West is more convenient to him than relocating somewhere farther away.

The only hitch in this plan is that it may be contingent on the Lakers bringing another superstar on board, possibly even the King himself. The Lakers have enough cap space to conceivably lure LeBron and George to Los Angeles. Pairing these two with Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Julius Randle, and Brandon Ingram would make for a very strong team. The tricky part here is George won’t want to commit to going to Los Angeles unless LeBron does, or possibly Kawhi Leonard, but that’s a whole other can of worms.

Considering the history in Los Angeles and the amount of money they have to throw at this year’s free agents, it seems like the most likely destination for both LeBron and  George. Cleveland has nothing left to offer King James, and Oklahoma City just isn’t a championship contender anymore.

Don’s be surprised if we see LeBron James and Paul George team up in the City of Angels and restore greatness to the Los Angeles Lakers.
