The Memphis Grizzlies have a major hole in their lineup that needs filling. There should be plenty of free agents on the market that fit their budget.

With the 2018 NBA Draft behind them and No. 4 overall pick Jaren Jackson Jr. in tow, the Memphis Grizzlies will now join the rest of the league in turning their attention toward free agency.

Given their current cap situation, the Grizz won’t be able to go big game hunting this summer, but they still have a little money to play with in the form of both the Non-Taxpayer Mid-Level Exception and the Bi-Annual Exception, worth $8.6 million and $3.4 million, respectively.

Now it just comes down to figuring out who and what they need.

With Mike Conley expected to to be ready for training camp and Jevon Carter, who Memphis drafted in the second round, slated to be his backup, the Grizzlies should be all set at point guard.

The same can be said for the center position, where Marc Gasol is firmly entrenched, while JaMychal Green and the rookie Jackson figure to soak up the majority of the minutes at the 4.

That leaves the off-guard and wing positions. Chandler Parsons has been anything but reliable since he signed a four-year, $94.4 million deal as a free agent in the summer of 2016, and Wayne Selden and Ben McLemore both disappointed in their own rights last season.

Dillon Brooks showed signs as a rookie, but he alone isn’t enough for Memphis to be truly competitive. As we’ve learned in recent years, there is no such thing as having too many versatile wings on your roster. Here are five free agents the team should consider bringing in.
