Isaiah Thomas: 5 potential landing spots in 2018 free agency

LeBron James and Paul George have thought about teaming up on the West Coast this summer, and a lot of that will impact Thomas’ fate with the Los Angeles Lakers organization.
According to Spotrac, the Lakers hold $63 million in practical cap space to make a leap in free agency. Their main targets right now are LeBron and PG. They’re also in serious trade talks with the Spurs to acquire Kawhi Leonard.
IT most likely won’t be a Laker next season if they are able to land one of these superstars looming in free agency, but don’t throw out your jersey just yet.
The Lakers are essentially going to be living large if they can make their vision a reality. If it ends up being a flop however, they are going to wish they had a quality point guard in Thomas. They also need insurance for Lonzo Ball‘s recent injury.
