1. Wayne Ellington

Wayne Ellington would be the perfect fit on the Wolves for next season.

For a team that struggles as mightily in the areas of bench production and 3-point shooting as the Wolves do, it doesn’t get much better than Wayne Ellington in free agency.

Last season for the Miami Heat, Ellington averaged a cool 11.2 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game while shooting 39.2 percent from 3-point territory on 7.5 attempts per game(!!!!).

The dude was basically a flamethrower off the bench. He even set an NBA record for most 3s made off the bench during an NBA season.

Can you imagine how much that would help the Wolves? It would fill their two biggest holes in one relatively cheap free agency signing.

I wouldn’t bet on the Wolves winning the Wayne Ellington sweepstakes, but if they do, that would be a huge win for the Minnesota Timberwolves organization.
