1. Tyreke Evans

Another potential free agency option the Bulls may want to consider is Tyreke Evans. From a scoring perspective, Evans has reached double figures in each of his nine NBA seasons. While his highest scoring output took place in his rookie season (20.1 points per outing), he nearly duplicated that production last year with the Memphis Grizzlies.

In 52 appearances, Evans posted averages of 19.4 points, 5.2 assists and 5.1 rebounds per game. What was even more impressive is that Evans connected on 39.9 percent of his attempts from long range last season, which represented a career best for the nine-year veteran.

Evans was also one of three players to average at least 19 points, five rebounds and five assists per contest while shooting over 39 percent from behind the 3-point line. The other two players in question are none other than former MVPs Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant of the Golden State Warriors.

That is pretty rare company, to say the least.

The only downside to Evans is that he is not really what you consider a legitimate floor-spacer, as his career conversion from 3-point range is just 31.8 percent. On the plus side, he has shot better than 35 percent from behind the 3-point line over the last three seasons. Additionally, Evans would give the Bulls size in the backcourt as a capable scorer, rebounder and facilitator.

Even more important, Evans’ one-year deal with the Grizzlies last season was just a little over $3 million. With the cap space they have available, the Bulls would be wise to make an attempt to acquire his services as he looks for a raise.
