1. Seth Curry

One of the most intriguing free agents of this offseason is Seth Curry. After two seasons with next to no production at the start of his career, he put together two great shooting seasons.

However, before last season started, he experienced a fractured tibia that eventually required surgery. This lost season took a big hit to his value this offseason. He’ll still be a relatively hot commodity though, and the Pistons should at least pick up the phone to gauge his interest.

Shooters of Curry’s caliber are few and far between in today’s NBA. In the 2016-17 season, he shot a line of .481/.425/.850. That 42.5 percent from distance would’ve ranked third among Pistons rotation players last season. He’s shown the ability to create his own shot, but he needs to work on creating more free throw opportunities. Curry would add strong shooting to a lineup that’s lacking in that department.

The main deterrent for the Pistons in this scenario would be how Curry would impact the development of Luke Kennard. Kennard had far too short of a run last season. The addition of Curry would further cut into those valuable minutes. However, if he would be interested in joining them, they would be foolish to avoid him.
