Throughout the 2017-18 NBA season, James Harden managed to show basketball fans why he is truly in a league of his own by placing his respective name among elite company.
The 28-year-old guard posted a career-high 30.4 points, 8.8 assists and 5.4 rebounds per game for the Houston Rockets, and joined Stephen Curry, Michael Jordan and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the only players in league history to ever average at least 30 points per game and lead his team to 65 wins in a single season.
The six-time All-Star guided Clutch City to the best record in all of basketball while capping his spectacular season off by capturing the league’s highest individual honor as MVP.

Harden — who finished second in MVP voting in two out of the last three seasons — edged out the Cleveland Cavaliers’ LeBron James and New Orleans Pelicans’ Anthony Davis to take home the Maurice Podoloff Trophy at the 2018 NBA Awards on Monday night.
