Stephen Curry’s 2017-18 season was filled with his usual brand of greatness mixed with the most injuries he’s had in a while.

Stephen Curry‘s rise to prominence has been as remarkable a story as we’ve seen in NBA history.

From his days at Davidson University to an injury-filled first few years, Curry is now considered one of the best in the game, with his gaudy statistics becoming the norm.

That trend continued this past year, with Steph posting great numbers across the board while battling injuries throughout. Although 26.4 points, 6.1 assists 5.1 rebounds per game may be a decrease from peak-Curry, that’s only because he set the bar incredibly high when he won his second MVP.

His offensive rating was actually the exact same as his unanimous MVP season at 125 points per 100 possessions, proving that while Kevin Durant may take away some of his scoring opportunities, Steph still finds a way to be great.

Injuries managed to significantly creep their way back into Curry’s life during the regular season really for the first time since 2012, leading to just 51 games played and an absence in his team’s first six postseason games.

They may have slowed him down early, but Curry picked up his play as the playoffs progressed, culminating in an MVP-worthy performance in the NBA Finals with 27.5 points, 6.8 assists and 6.0 rebounds per game, helping the Golden State Warriors win their third title in four years. Here’s a look back on his 2017-18 campaign.
