Highlights

Heading into the 2017-18 season, Galloway was coming off some good seasons to start his career. He had flashed potential to be a strong rotation piece off the bench for the Pistons. The team was hoping that he would add to the highlight reel that he had started to build for himself.

In mid-December against the Atlanta Hawks, Galloway flashed some of his tantalizing potential. He’ll never be a gaudy scoring player. However, he put 17 points on 6-of-11 shooting, including 5-of-9 from 3-point range. He has the ability to be a knockdown shooter and just needs to be consistent.

In a game the Pistons lost by nearly 20 points to the Denver Nuggets, Galloway was the team’s most effective player on offense. He had 18 points on 5-of-9 shooting and 5-of-7 from 3-point range. This was only two nights before the game against the Hawks. He has the chance to be a very good player for the Pistons.

Heading into the 2018-19, Galloway, if he’s still with the team, has the potential to a great bench piece. He has flashed the ability to pour points in from distance, and, with a new offense in place, should be better set up for success. This will come down to his work in the offseason and how he gels with the team.
