The Orlando Magic selected Melvin Frazier in the second round of the 2018 NBA Draft. Here are three reasons that was a good decision to make.

The Orlando Magic continued filling out their roster in the second round of the 2018 NBA Draft, as they selected forward Melvin Frazier with the 35th overall pick.

A long player, Frazier also registered the highest vertical leap at the draft combine earlier in the year as well. Clearly the organization is building a team full of athletes, with an eye towards improving the team considerably on the defensive end.

There’s much to like about the addition of Frazier, and it starts with the explosive athleticism that he possesses. He may spend some time in the G League this coming year, if only because the team has an overlap of talent at the frontcourt positions, but Frazier will get his chance.

Here are three reasons taking him was a good decision, with the former Tulane player able to help this team in more ways than one, which is what the Magic need.
