10. Big win in OKC before the playoffs

Heading into their April 3 matchup with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Golden State had lost two out of three to Kevin Durant’s former team.

Russell Westbrook appeared to have all the help he needed in Paul George and Carmelo Anthony, as evidenced by the two victories coming by a combined 37 points.

The Warriors proved to be reeling some, having lost seven games the previous month, struggling to find a rhythm with the playoffs looming and Stephen Curry sidelined by a knee injury.

Against OKC, it appeared as if they found a groove, winning 111-107, laying to waste a 44-point performance by the reigning MVP.

With the postseason fast approaching, Golden State knew it had to start rounding into playoff form, and a road game against a potential second round matchup was just what the doctor ordered.

Judging by them losing three of their final four games, the win against OKC may not have been the beginning of a momentum-building run, but it no doubt gave the Warriors confidence that when they’re locked in against a worthy foe — even sans Curry — they become an incredibly dangerous squad.
