Denver Nuggets: 5 reasons Michael Porter Jr. was a good pick

3. Versatility
All NBA teams would love to have a versatile player like Porter on their side. At 6’10” he can shoot, score, dribble, pass and defend. His style of play and physical tools are a perfect fit for today’s NBA. He can play a point forward role and even some small-ball power forward or center.
Porter is also very useful with the ball in his hands. He is a confident scorer and is creative finding his shot or getting to the hoop. Porter can play and defend multiple positions. He is a guy that is a good all-around basketball player on both ends of the floor.
He has been compared to guys like Otto Porter JR., a stronger Brandon Ingram and a young Kevin Durant. Those are three pretty solid comparisons for Porter. If he can stay healthy, he will develop into one of the best weapons in the entire NBA.
