2. Lonnie Walker IV, SG — San Antonio Spurs (No. 18)

Does Lonnie Walker IV have a history of knee injuries? Sure. But if there is any team on the board who knows how to pick ‘em best, it’s the San Antonio Spurs. This is the same organization that wisely plucked a young Kawhi Leonard from the Indiana Pacers for George Hill, and who, once upon a time, got arguably the greatest draft steal of all time in Manu Ginobili at 57th overall.

Walker, coming out of the University of Miami, is a stud and if he had no injury concerns he would’ve been a top-10 selection. He can really shoot the 3-ball and is a natural athlete. At just 19 years old, there is almost no reason why the Spurs can’t make mountains out of molehills here.

As of now, Walker will have to fight for playing time behind Danny Green and Manu Ginobili, but with Kawhi Leonard potentially gone this offseason, there is a good chance the Spurs hit the reset button and push their youth movement.
