Now that the 2018 NBA Draft has come and gone, it’s time to take a closer look at the moves the Sacramento Kings made.

The Sacramento Kings got lucky in the draft lottery, moving up to the No. 2 overall spot in the 2018 NBA Draft. The question than became, who would the Kings take?

The answer, as the world discovered Thursday night, was Marvin Bagley III.

While there was plenty of talk leading up to the draft with names like Luka Doncic, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Michael Porter Jr. being floated around, the Kings zeroed in on their target and pulled the trigger.

To top it off, the Kings made draft night a Duke Blue Devils night, selecting Bagley’s college teammate, Gary Trent Jr. with the No. 37 overall pick. Alas, the once college teammates were not destined to be teammates in the NBA, as the Kings traded Trent to the Portland Trail Blazers for two future second round picks.

With the draft officially in the books, it’s time to reflect on the Kings’ draft night moves. Here are the 2018 NBA Draft grades for the Sacramento Kings.
