The Chicago Bulls had the seventh and 22nd overall picks heading into the 2018 NBA Draft. Here’s a look at how they did.

A year ago, the Chicago Bulls shocked the sports world when they sent three-time All-Star Jimmy Butler to the Minnesota Timberwolves in exchange for Zach LaVine, Kris Dunn and Lauri Markkanen. Taking that into consideration, the Bulls entered the 2017-18 campaign with very low expectations considering the roster was mostly comprised of unproven players.

As expected, the Bulls’ season was filled with many growing pains. From the preseason altercation between Bobby Portis and Nikola Miroti, to the multiple instances in which they recorded losing streaks of at least five games, this Bulls squad was difficult to watch at times.

Those scenarios, along with the newly-formed Big 3 missing a total of 102 games, it wasn’t much of a surprise when executive vice president of basketball operations John Paxson stated that he did not want to go through another season like the one he and the fans just witnessed.

In order to avoid doing so, the front office needed to add quality talent from the 2018 NBA Draft. Did the Bulls make the grade, or did they fall flat on their faces?

Here’s a quick look at each of the decisions the Bulls made on draft night and what they could mean for the team going forward.
