Charlotte Hornets: 2018 NBA Draft grades
No. 55: Arnoldas Kulboka, Lithuania
Late round NBA draft picks are perfect for teams that love to draft-and-stash. Arnoldas Kulboka is another one of those international stars that the Hornets can take a chance on, but not lose out on anything if he doesn’t pan out.
There are things to like about Kulboka’s game though. He’s very athletic and can catch and shoot very well.
Kulboka comes in at 6’10” but just over 200 pounds, so he needs to add some weight to his frame. He doesn’t have to be 230 like Bridges, but he needs to be able to handle the rigors of the NBA if the Hornets do decide to pick up his contract one day.
Again, this is just a stash of potential talent, but if Kulboka can continue to improve his shooting and even start working the pick-and-roll more, he could be a big diamond in the rough for the Charlotte Hornets.
Grade: C+
