10. Jerome Lane (PF) — No. 23 pick in 1988 NBA Draft

Career stats (with the Nuggets): 192 GP, 5.7 PPG, 6.2 RPG, 1.6 APG, 0.7 SPG, 0.2 BPG, 1.3 TOV, 43.7 FG%, 39.0 FT%

Jerome Lane spent a little over three seasons in Denver, and during that time he always flashed potential.

Looking at his numbers, such potential is difficult to see, but they begin to paint a picture when factoring in his fairly low 15.8 minutes per game.

Given that information, his numbers start to look better. Look at his stats per-36 minutes, and they go all the way up to 12.9 points and 14.1 rebounds. Per-36 minute numbers may never be truly accurate, but they at least show that Lane had talent during his time with the Nuggets.

Maybe if his minutes were actually closer to 36, he would’ve been more revered in the team’s history, possibly moving him higher up on this list.
