With the recent news surrounding superstar Kawhi Leonard, here’s a blockbuster four-team deal involving the Miami Heat that benefits all parties involved.

Still two weeks out from the start of free agency, the recent news surrounding Kawhi Leonard has already sent the NBA world into a tailspin.

Although it had been brewing for some time, Leonard’s reported wish to be dealt away from the San Antonio Spurs has had nearly all onlookers feverishly delving into ways in which their team  can acquire the two-time Defensive Player of the Year.

While ESPN‘s Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that Leonard’s preferred destination is the Los Angeles Lakers, this is clearly not going to deter multiple teams from around the league in inquiring with the Spurs as it pertains to a suitable trade package.

In addition to the Lakers, the Los Angeles Clippers, Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers are among some of the other teams who have initially been raised as being legitimate contenders for his services.

Having played just nine games last season primarily due to a recurring quadriceps injury, the relationship between Leonard and the Spurs is now seen as irreparable due to Leonard’s distrust of the organization’s handling of his quad injury.

Still just 26, it’s extremely rare that a player fresh off placing in the top three of the MVP voting the past two (healthy) seasons is demanding to be traded away from the franchise that helped develop him into one of the elite two-way players in the game.

This summer, it’s expected a host of players across the league are likely to be on the move as teams explore avenues to close the gap on the now back-to-back champion Golden State Warriors.

Taking into this account, here’s a rundown of each team (Miami Heat, Minnesota Timberwolves, Portland Trail Blazers, Spurs) involved in this mega-deal that provides significant value for each franchise involved.
