3. Jeff Green, SF — Cleveland Cavaliers (unrestricted)

As one of the key supporting players to Lebron James’s Cleveland Cavaliers throughout their playoff run, Jeff Green could get some attention when he hits the free agent market this summer. The former fifth overall pick out of Georgetown is one of the last active players to play for the Seattle SuperSonics, but still adds value to a team at 31 years of age.

Green has averaged double-digit points per game in all but two of his seasons as a pro. For Cleveland this past season, he averaged 10.8 points and 3.2 rebounds per game in 78 appearances for the Eastern Conference champs. He also shot a career-high 86.8 percent from the free throw line.

He was particularly instrumental in Cleveland’s Eastern Conference Finals matchup with the Boston Celtics. In Game 6 he scored 14 points and added two blocks to help slow down Boston’s Jayson Tatum. He followed up this performance with 19 points and eight rebounds in Game 7 to help support LeBron James and send the Cavaliers to their fourth straight NBA Finals appearance.

For the Houston Rockets, Green could provide another veteran presence and additional small forward depth in the event that Trevor Ariza leaves in free agency. Even at 31, Green still possesses the athleticism to get out in transition the way the Rockets like to do, so he should fit nicely as a bargain player in a free agent market full of superstars.
