Though James is coming off one of the best seasons and an epic postseason run, he has already played 15 seasons in the league. If you add all the minutes he’s played in the playoffs in addition to the regular season, there’s bound to be some wear on his tires.
While James reaches the latter stages of his career, he has to start thinking about what he’s going to do after basketball.
James has already made a splash in Hollywood, starring in the 2015 comedy film, Trainwreck alongside Amy Schumer and Bill Hader. According to his IMDB page, James is set to executive produce an untitled Muhammad Ali Documentary as well as produce and star in Space Jam 2.
Since Hollywood seems to be where he’s headed after his playing career, it makes sense for him to get a head start.
