PG. West Virginia. Jevon Carter. 26. player. 93. The Sixers add another college vet with the 26th pick in West Virginia’s Jevon Carter. Having added Mikal Bridges, and with most of the best wings taken at this point, they can add an older point guard who fits very well with Ben Simmons. Carter needs playmakers around him at the NBA level, but he’s an incredible individual defender and sound 3-point shooter. The Sixers came to life in the playoffs thanks to the hard nosed play of T.J. McConnell. Selecting Carter might upset the Process brass, but McConnell could become too expensive after the season. Between that and Markelle Fultz’s positional versatility, you can’t have too many players who can defend well and shoot.
