3. Atlanta Hawks

The Atlanta Hawks own the No. 3 pick in the draft, and are looking to trade down to acquire more assets in the process. Dennis Schroder has also been unhappy with the Hawks’ rebuild during his prime, and he could be moved along with the pick.

Unfortunately, this trade is the least likely to happen for the Clippers, since what they can offer isn’t nearly enough. Apart from their two first round picks, the team could offer Harris, Dekker and guard Jawun Evans. This still doesn’t seem like it’s enough, though.

The Clippers could then offer their 2019 and possibly even their 2020 first round picks. This is risky, however, as they could end up in a Brooklyn Nets-type situation. If injuries take place or the player they select ends up being a bust, the Clippers’ fanbase would be heartbroken over their future lost picks.

No matter how much they offer, the Clippers are too close to the end of the lottery to offer an intriguing enough deal for the Hawks. This trade is very unlikely, unless L.A. goes above-and-beyond when offering a deal.
