With the 2018 NBA Draft approaching, the Los Angeles Clippers could be involved in a blockbuster trade if they are willing to give up enough assets.

The Los Angeles Clippers gained an assortment of interesting pieces from the trades of Chris Paul and Blake Griffin to the Houston Rockets and Detroit Pistons, respectively.

Among the guards, notable additions included veterans such as Patrick Beverley, Lou Williams and Avery Bradley. In the frontcourt, Tobias Harris, Montrezl Harrell, Sam Dekker and Boban Marjanovic were all nice, young-ish pieces to experiment with.

Along with the acquisition of the Pistons’ No. 12 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft to pair with the Clippers’ own pick, No. 13 overall, L.A. could retool rather than rebuild.

However, with center DeAndre Jordan most likely going to leave in free agency, the Clippers are going to be stuck in mediocrity. This is where a blockbuster draft-day trade would benefit them.

In a center-heavy draft, Deandre Ayton, Marvin Bagley III, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Mohamed Bamba are all projected to be gone within the first seven picks. Forwards Luka Doncic and Michael Porter Jr. and point guard Trae Young round out the top seven.

Being able to move up and select a top center could help the team handle the loss of Jordan as well as change up their identity. Here are some potential trades, ranked from least to most likely.
