Here are five options for the Atlanta Hawks to consider with the No. 34 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft.

The Atlanta Hawks are in the early stages of their rebuilding process. They parted ways with head coach Mike Budenholzer following the 2017-18 season, replacing him with Lloyd Pierce. Pierce has been an assistant in the NBA since 2007, spending the past five seasons with the Philadelphia 76ers.

Pierce experienced a long rebuild with the 76ers, making him a solid fit for the Hawks. They may not contend for a few years, but they will have an opportunity to build quite a foundation, beginning this year.

Atlanta owns four selections in the 2018 NBA Draft, including three in the first round. First round selections garner a lot of attention, especially when they are as high as the No. 3 pick that Atlanta owns. However, the Hawks will have an opportunity to add more talent in the second round.

Selecting at the top of the second round usually results in teams landing some talented players. There are always a few players that slip in the draft and the Hawks will have a chance to snag one of those players.

Atlanta is void of many building blocks currently on the team. No player should be off limits because of the position they play. At this stage, the Hawks should be selecting the best player available to stockpile as much talent as possible on the roster.

When Atlanta comes on the clock with the No. 34 pick, here are five players that they should consider with the selection.
