2. LeBron James

A free agent for the third time in his storied career, LeBron James’ decision will have a lot to do with the Warriors’ title chances in 2019.

Somehow still in the prime of his career, James will likely look to join a team that can immediately contend for a championship, wherever that may be, which should make Golden State sweat a little bit more than usual.

What LeBron did in the 2018 NBA Playoffs was unbelievable, averaging 34.0 points on 53.9 percent shooting while putting in 9.1 rebounds and 9.1 assists per game, carrying what many consider his worst roster ever to make the NBA Finals.

Despite being swept in the final round, the Cavs had their chances to claim two of those games, thanks in majority to the King’s all-time greatness.

If LeBron is able to pull off such amazing feats with an inferior supporting cast, imagine what he could do with teammates who have proven to actually be good at basketball?

Plus, one has to believe that after losing to the Warriors in three separate Finals, James would love nothing more than to personally keep them from winning another title.

Golden State has witnessed firsthand the greatness of LeBron with a championship on the line. Depending on where he goes, they might not want to see it again.
