Weaknesses

If Jeremy Lamb wants to be a sought-after free agent in 2019, he needs to show some consistency in his game. Otherwise, no team will want to gamble on a 27-year-old project.

That’s definitely his biggest weakness at the moment.

After averaging 17.1 points per game in October and 15.5 points per game in November, his scoring dipped to a meager 12.1 points per game and never seemed to find it’s way back up for more than a few games at a time.

Lamb scored 20 or more points in five games this season. All five of those games came before Christmas. That’s not good. The dip in production over the last few months of the season should be a warning sign to NBA teams. Was his quality performance in the first two months of the season a fluke? This next season will provide Lamb with the opportunity to turn that narrative around.

Lamb needs to show teams that he can be a consistent scoring threat in this league or else he’s going to have a hard time making it in any rotation. It’s that simple. When scoring is what you do best, you have to score (preferably consistently and efficiently as well).
