Highlights

Even if the 2017-18 season was unbearable to watch, Barnes had some very entertaining performances.

Against the Washington Wizards, he scored a season-high 31 points and nine rebounds in a 113-99 win. He came up clutch, hitting shot after shot in the fourth quarter. It was an uplifting win for Mavericks after starting the season 1-10.

Barnes had another 31-point performance against the Boston Celtics in a 110-102 loss on Nov. 20.

Two days later, he had a 22-point, nine-rebound game against the Memphis Grizzlies. What made the performance much more electrifying was that he hit a deep 3-pointer with 0.5 seconds left to give his team a 95-94 win.

Barnes may not have had many big games, but he showed he can be clutch in end-of-game situations. As the Mavericks become more competitive, look for the team to rely on Barnes to close out tight games.
