Pro No. 3: Doncic is a highlight reel

With the talent to score off the dribble combined with excellent playmaking and court vision, Doncic’s game is sure to produce a consistent stream of highlights once he steps foot on an NBA court.

When it comes to drafting, front offices obviously want to select players they believe will help their team win basketball games, but they also want guys who can put fans in the stands. Owners want players who can dazzle crowds. They want players who garner national media attention, leading to nationally televised games.

Doncic could become the next must-see talent, and being from Slovenia will most likely attract an entirely new audience and fanbase for the Kings.

Winning should always be the main priority for a franchise, but most also want to be marketable, because one’s ability to sell leads to more money, and we all know how much owners of any franchise love their money.
