1. Omari Spellman

Omari Spellman’s name holds plenty of weight in the Delaware Valley, as he was a member of the 2018 national champion Villanova Wildcats. He averaged 10.9 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game in his lone season on campus.

Spellman is praised for the intangibles he brings to the court. He displays a high IQ and a lot of hustle whenever he steps on the floor. Also, he’s capable of doing a little bit of everything: rebounding, shooting and defense.

Spellman can help any team stretch the floor, as he shot 43.3 percent from 3-point range on 3.8 attempts per game in 2017-18. Despite averaging only 1.1 assists per 40 minutes, he also has a decent passing touch.

However, Spellman’s value is only that of a second round pick due to concerns about his weight and footwork. Those issues makes it hard for him to defend speedier guards and keeps him from having a potent post-game.

Still, Omari Spellman does so many things well, and he would be a second round steal if he is available for the Philadelphia 76ers at the No. 39 pick.
