1. The only team that can beat the Warriors is…the Warriors

Throughout this regular season the Warriors looked…well there’s no other way to put it, they looked bored. They coasted at half-speed for 82 games, showing flashes of what they were capable of, but never really turning up the heat.

Even in the playoffs, they looked under-challenged. They encountered zero resistance until the Western Conference Finals against the Rockets, and even in that series, they appeared to take games off. When they went down 3-2, they still didn’t seem concerned.

According to The Athletic, Draymond Green declared “We still winning this” after the Warriors lost Game 5 in Houston. This kind of attitude really shows that the Warriors know they are far and away the best team in the League. They have such confidence in themselves that a 3-2 series hole against the best regular season team in their conference didn’t even faze them. Even when they play terribly, they still win:

So the big question that remains for next season is this: can anyone really hope to beat the Warriors, or are we just waiting for them to get too overconfident and beat themselves? Next season they will bring back a lot of familiar faces. It’s going to take an incredible turn of events to stop them.
