The Golden State Warriors won the 2018 NBA championship with a convincing 108-85 Game 4 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Here are our takeaways.

Four years into the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers NBA Finals rivalry, things are getting less and less close. After a six-game series in 2015 and a seven-gamer in 2016, the Warriors have now won back-to-back titles: first in five, then in four games.

Regardless of what appeared to be an uninspired Cleveland effort in Game 4, the Warriors were magnificent. Stephen Curry scored 37 points with seven 3s, six rebounds, four assists, three steals and three blocks. Kevin Durant added three blocks of his own, to go along with a 20-point, 12-rebound, 10-assist triple-double.

LeBron James put up 23 points, eight assists and seven rebounds, but took just 13 shots and turned the ball over six times. Questions have already begun swirling about if it was his last game as a member of the Cavs, as well as those considering whether or not the Warriors are now an official NBA dynasty, having won their third title in four years.

In our Game 4 takeaways, we will try to ignore the future and focus on the present for one more day.
