The Cleveland Cavaliers’ 2017-18 season came to a crashing end Friday night. We look at three takeaways from Game 4 of the 2018 NBA Finals.

When the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors faced off, many expected the Warriors to win handily. Some may have envisioned a five-game series, others maybe stretched out to six.

However, a four-game sweep that wasn’t relatively close after Game 1 is what we all received.

On their way to a 108-95 victory in Game 4, not much had changed for the Warriors. Offensively, Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry dominated, and defensively, Golden State dared anyone not named LeBron James to beat them.

Curry finished with a game-high 37 points and rained in seven 3s. Durant only scored 20 but had his first triple-double of the postseason, as he finished with 12 rebounds and 10 assists.

For the Cavaliers, LeBron James led Cleveland with 23 points, and while others contributed, no other Cav ended Game 4 with more than 13 points. There is much to be made about what this offseason will bring now that a champion has been crowned. Before we look too far, however, let’s bring you three takeaways from Game 4.
