2015-16

Los Angeles finished above 50 wins for the fourth straight season. This time they faced the Damian Lillard-led Portland Trail Blazers. After protecting home court and taking a 2-0 lead in the series, both Paul and Griffin suffered injuries in Game 4, and the Trail Blazers wound up winning the series in six games.

Paul and Griffin struggled through injuries during the regular season, missing 20 and 47 games, respectively. Both stars worked hard to get healthy for the postseason, so it was tough watching their efforts fall short due to injuries.

Had the Clippers stayed healthy, they would have likely won the series and faced the 73-9 Warriors. The Warriors were without two-time MVP Stephen Curry for the first three games of the series, which could have given Los Angeles the advantage.
